ACCESSIBILITY ONTARIO
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Policy:
PURPOSE
The goal of this policy is to outline Nigozy’s standards, practices, and commitments that support accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities. In alignment with AODA (2005), we ensure that employees, job seekers, volunteers, clients, and partners all receive equal access to our services.
We strive to uphold the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity by reducing barriers that limit participation in employment and staffing services.
POLICY
Our accessibility policy focuses on eliminating obstacles that prevent individuals with disabilities from accessing services. This includes ensuring availability of assistive devices, alternate methods of communication, service animals, and support persons when needed.
PRACTICES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Nigozy develops policies and processes that remain flexible, allowing us to adapt to the needs of individuals with disabilities. We guarantee that all services are delivered in a way that promotes equal opportunities—whether physical, technological, or otherwise.
ASSISTIVE DEVICES
People with disabilities are welcome to use personal assistive devices when accessing Nigozy’s services.
Assistive devices can include mobility aids, wheelchairs, screen readers, or listening devices, depending on individual needs.
Definition of Disability (AODA & Ontario Human Rights Code)
A disability may include:
Any physical condition, illness, or impairment that affects mobility, coordination, vision, hearing, or communication.
